British fashion brand Kalikas Armour partners with “Fashion for Conservation” with an exclusive Womenswear collection launched at the Rainforest Runway at Fashion Scout, on Sunday 18th February during London Fashion Week 2018.

Fashion for Conservation (FFC) launched their newest campaign in alliance with Kalikas Armour and USA designer Rene Garza to protect rainforests as a catwalk featuring collections inspired by the Amazon rainforest at London Fashion Week 2018.

FFC Partnered with The Whitley Fund for Nature (Patron HRH the Princess Royal, Trustee Sir David Attenborough,) which has engaged the fashion community to become advocates and raise support for grassroots work around the world to protect the threatened habitats on which both wildlife and people depend on for food, water and life.

Jatin Patel, Creative Director of Kalikas Armour, designed The Majestic Mystics Collection, an 11 look ensemble inspired by the very inhabitants of the Rainforests of the world. A juxtaposition of eclectic tribal cultures, nature, symbolism and the rainforest, translated into a range of statement opulent evening wear, floor length gowns, cocktail dresses, sharp tailored suits and jackets.

Majestic Mystics

Realised through various textures of Velvet’s, tulles, luxurious Guipure Lace, Jacquards, sequin pailettes, hand appliqués, embellished with beads, jewels and Swarovski Crystals. A rich colour palette consisting of intense blacks, antique and temple gold’s accentuated with peacock blue’s and fire Red’s.

Adorned with regal peacock headdresses and tribal ornaments, Channelling the essence of tribalism and celebrating the femininity, strength, power and mysticism of modern womanhood…
