Technology & Innovation
Kalikas Armour explores technology as a tool for discipline, not spectacle.
Physical craft remains central to the house. Digital tools are considered where they can support creative exploration, widen access, reduce unnecessary sampling, strengthen traceability or extend the life of what is made.
Think Diffusion / F3F Festival
ANCIENT TRAVELLERS โ ORLANDO, USA, MAY 2024
Kalikas Armour was selected as one of six brands from around the world to participate in a fully hosted and funded generative-design programme with Think Diffusion.
The programme included conference panel discussions and culminated in a live fashion presentation exploring how artificial intelligence can support new creative languages without displacing authorship, construction or handcraft.
The development of Ancient Travellers brought together generative exploration, concept boards, silhouette studies, fabric and colour research and the physical discipline of the atelier.
The programme and its creative development were also followed in the documentary 4 Weeks From Now.

Nuvatech
VIRTUAL WORKS & VIRTUAL TRY-ON โ OCTOBER 2025
In collaboration with Nuvatech, Kalikas Armour explored virtual fashion imagery and virtual try-on as ways to widen remote engagement, communicate ideas and support more efficient early-stage decisions.
The intention is not to replace the physical atelier experience, but to consider how technology can complement it while reducing unnecessary sampling and helping clients visualise potential directions.

TRACEABILITY & DIGITAL PRODUCT PASSPORTS
Kalikas Armour is exploring digital product passports as part of its evolving approach to transparency, aftercare and circularity.
Where introduced, digital traceability could provide clearer material information, care guidance and pathways for the future adaptation, reuse or responsible end-of-life treatment of each piece.
