Manemals extends the language of the Kalikas Armour atelier beyond the body.

These sculptural luxury artefacts bring together animal form, cultural symbolism and fashion-led construction. Materials may include Piñatex, made using pineapple-leaf fibre, alongside surplus cloth and reclaimed textiles, transformed through handcraft into objects with presence, character and purpose.

A CORONATION GIFT FOR HIS MAJESTY KING CHARLES III

A Ganesh Manemal was created and delivered as a Coronation gift for King Charles III.

Drawing on Ganesh, associated with wisdom, new beginnings and the removal of obstacles, the piece demonstrates how the atelier’s design language can be translated into an object of celebration and cultural meaning.
